SoundWaves at Gaylord Opryland Resort

I had the opportunity to visit SoundWaves Opryland a couple of weeks ago and I’m so excited to share my experience with you! SoundWaves is a luxury indoor waterpark located in Nashville at Gaylord Opryland Resort. It is exclusively for hotel guests which is ideal as it limits the amount of people at the waterpark. There is so much to do and it is truly entertaining for people of all ages. In our group, we had ages ranging from my two year old niece, to my 10 year old son, to myself, my sister and our mom (a grandmother of six and great grandmother of two).

They offer multiple toddler and kiddie areas inside and outside. All of which are equally amazing and perfect for your little ones! They offer towels and even have lifejackets for your kiddos!

There are two restaurants inside SoundWaves. We ate at Decibels and we all loved it! It is conveniently located, which makes it perfect to take a quick break with the kiddos and grab a bite to eat in between swimming and relaxing in the lazy river!

The other restaurant is Status Cymbal. It is located upstairs in a private area for adults only. It includes an infinity pool that overlooks the waterpark. I was able to relax by the infinity pool (even if it was just for a few minutes) and I enjoyed every second!

One thing I highly recommend is reserving a cabana for the day. Ours was located inside by one of the toddler areas, which was great since we had my two year old niece with us. The cabana offers a mini fridge, complimentary bottled water, seating for up to six people, a TV and a digital-code safe for your belongings. There are cabanas located inside and outside at the resort. All of them are conveniently located and are the perfect place to relax, regroup or take a quick break.

The weather was perfect during our stay so we were able to enjoy the outdoor part of the waterpark both days. The wave pool was my favorite area! The outdoor area also has water slides, cabanas and a big water area for kids!

We stayed in the Cascades, which is home to the Relache Spa and the Cascades Restaurant. Our room had a beautiful view of the Cascades atrium which is full of indoor water falls, trees and flowers. SoundWaves is a quick walk away from Cascades and such a fun addition to Opryland. We made great memories and we are already looking forward to our next visit!
