Hi, I'm Abby Green! I was born and raised in the South right outside of Nashville, TN. I am a wife, mom, grandmother and dog mom. I became a Certified Etiquette Instructor in 2008 and I taught children's manners classes with my mom at Southern Grace Etiquette for over a decade. 

When Draper James opened in 2015, I was part of the original Nashville team. During my five years of working there, I was given many wonderful opportunities. I created social media content for Draper James and I was given the opportunity to write several blog posts for the Love, Reese blog. I also hosted a children's manners class in-store with my mom.

I started my Instagram account @putonkindness in 2016 focusing on lifestyle and fashion. A few months later, I was accepted into LTK and was excited to start linking items for you to shop. In 2018, my website was born. It has been so fun expanding my little corner of the internet. I love that it has allowed me to connect with wonderful people like YOU!

In 2025, my mom and I published our first children's book Put on Kindness in Nashville! about a little girl named Mattie who visits Nashville with her mom for the first time. Mattie learns all about kindness as she and her mom explore Music City together. The book uses real life moments that help children understand how small acts of kindness can make a big difference.

From teaching manners to creating content to writing a children's book it all comes back to one simple idea, no act of kindness is ever wasted no matter how small.
